It was a warm spring afternoon in Athens about seven years ago. Nektarios had just returned to his place. You could still hear at the distance the sound of the city, but at this hour the whole neighbourhood was quiet. The sun coming through the balcony door was giving the moment an extra touch of tranquillity. Nektarios decided to take a nap. He could have never imagined how this nap was about to change his whole life; slowly at the beginning and more radically later on. You see in his sleep he dreamt that he was juggling three balls. He had never done that before either in his dreams nor during his waking hours. When he woke up he remembered that somewhere he had seen a juggling shop. Less than an hour later he was asking the guy at the shop to teach him three balls cascade. More than a year and a half after that he found him self balancing on stilts while juggling torches in front an audience of some hundreds people. All he could think of was that his costume that had made himself could easily set on fire. A couple of years later he was walking on a tight wire in a circus school in Madrid. And a couple of years after that he said to his teachers at Circus Space that he wanted to try Chinese Pole. Since then he has been climbing a pole up and down almost everyday.
